Discusses the decision of the Canadian Supreme Court in Dobson v Dobson [1999] 2 SCR 753 which explored the circumstances in which a child would be able to sue its mother for ante-natal injuries. They denied liability of the mother in all such circumstances and held instead that the matter was for the legislature.
