Urgent Use of Protection Orders
Urgent Use of Protection Orders
This chapter describes how to use the justice of the peace court system where an adult has to be visited using a warrant or removed an urgent basis, The warrant and removal order are similar to those of a sheriff court but with shorter timescales. These applications are for emergency conditions only probably after court hours or where any delay will harm an adult further. This chapter defines what an urgent application means and how to word the evidence for warrants and removal orders.
