This chapter presents a case study that investigates the function of metaphor in constructing Czechoslovak communism. The fact that the symbolic structure of communist discourse takes root at the fundamental grammatical basis of Czech by harnessing pronouns to create inclusive and exclusive space shows to what extent the communist mindset took hold of the Czech language.
