This chapter takes a look at Miller's relation to Lewis Carroll, which is considered as the most productive in terms of studying Miller's original and playful writing. It describes Carroll as a writer of huge significance, and shows that Carroll gives Miller a deep interest in wordplay, in language games and in the potentially humorous limits of writing.
