A Cassandra with Clout: Storm Jameson, Little Englander and Good European
This chapter discusses Storm Jameson and identifies some important concerns on the dominant intermodern forms. One of the most important concerns is work, which is described as a constant pressure, an influence on political belief and action, and a subject for investigation. The chapter shows that Jameson never stopped working, either as an advocate for war refugees or as a writer, and that her non-fiction and fiction are full of representations of working people.
