This chapter examines the engagement of Patrice Chéreau's film Ceux qui m'aiment prendront le train with non-sanctioned arrangements for loving in the time of AIDS, and its effects on representations of queer sexuality. It discusses French writer and film director Christophe Honoré's dismissal of the moralist tendency of contemporary French cinema, and also highlights his appreciation for Chéreau's film, from which he found what was lacking in French cinema.
