Abstract

Radical Romantics engages with the critical frameworks of cultural geography, cartography, and the burgeoning field of oceanic studies in order to reformulate theories of colonization and empire in the Romantic period. In so doing, the book poses fundamental questions about our understanding of both territorial and imagined space.
